After a four year hiatus from shooting, K. Austin Photography is back and ready to roll! At the time that I made the difficult decision to stop shooting, I was working 16 hour days typing medical transcription and was not able to give my clients the time they deserved. Now, four years later, I have a new job with much better hours and the time to work hard for my clients and give them the best photos and attention that they are worth. So, stay tuned for some new posts and awesome photos soon!
WOW! That is the only thing I can come up with to describe Elizabeth’s and Brendan’s wedding. 😀 With a beautiful setting like the Vineyards at Riverbend Chapel in Washington, Missouri, the setting was already set for a beautiful wedding. Add a beautiful bride, an incredibly fun wedding party, a mother of the bride who is not afraid to have fun, a bagpipe player to play the wedding march, and an incredibe view and you have one GREAT wedding! 😀 It didn’t even matter that it was 108 on the heat index and that everyone was sweating buckets, the bride and groom were alternating between blotting each other and the minister with a towel during the ceremony, the entire bridal party danced back up the isle when the ceremony was done.
Here’s a few from our fun day.
Meet Lauren Rynard, K. Austin Photography’s Harrisonville High School Senior Model Rep. We had a great time shooting her Senior portraits at the Kansas City River Market and the Kansas City Plaza before the light gave out and we had to quit for the day. Stay tuned for our next shoot at Kaufmann Gardens and Loose Park! So, Harrisonville students, go see Lauren and get a referral card to receive $25 off your Senior package and 80 free wallets!
Even though it was a horribly hot day on the Plaza, at 7:00 no less, I had a great time with Sean and Joy shooting some wonderful engagement photos for them. They are getting married on 10/10/10 in Lee’s Summit and I look forward to capturing their day then too! 😀 Here are a few from our hike around the Kansas City Plaza.
What a fun couple and what a wonderful wedding and reception. Ashley and Patrick tied the knot on July 24, 2010, at The Messiah Lutheran Church in Independence, MO with a wonderful reception at The Pavillion at Logan Woods. Even with the huge thunderstorm that roll through during the wedding, this marriage is off to a great start! 😀 The DJ was amazed to see a father and daughter singing to each other during the father/daughter dance. 😀
Here’s a few from their E-session earlier last month. . . What a blast we had at the Kansas City River Market!
